“Fifteen years into this business, and I’m still able to say I’m going to be busy every day,” country star Trace Adkins told us at his CMA Music Festival fan club party.

FOX411 Country caught up with him at the event, something he likes to do as much as he can to thank his fans.

“These folks have fed my children for years," he explained. "And I appreciate it.”

While at the microphone, Adkins took questions and addressed everything from how he proud is of Nashville for the flood clean-up, to the oil spill in the Gulf ,since Adkins himself worked in the oil field for 10 years.

Adkins also performed a couple of tunes and introduced his entire family on stage.

His new CD “Cowboy’s Back In Town” comes out August 17th, and until then he’s busy on the road with Toby Keith for the “American Ride Tour.”

“It's already been a busy year for us and it doesn't look like it's gonna slow down," Adkins said.
