Scottine Ross, aka Brett Rossi, suing actor, says she has PTSD from relationship, but isn't HIV+

Brett Rossi filed a restraining order against Charlie Sheen Friday after the National Enquirer released what it said were transcripts of a phone call from Sheen to another woman in which Sheen reportedly said he wanted to have Rossi injured, a source close to the situation tells FOX411.

The insider said the actor’s ex-fiancée filed the order in Van Nuys, Calif. after Rossi read in the tabloid on Thursday that Sheen had been quoted saying of Rossi: “This piece of s--t needs to be fu--ing buried.… Family of gangsters. You get it."

A lawyer for Rossi told FOX411, "Ms. Rossi is terrified after listening to the recording of Mr. Sheen apparently threatening her life. She takes the threat as being serious, given what she knows about Mr. Sheen. She will take all necessary steps with law enforcement and the courts to protect herself."

TMZ published a photo of Rossi leaving an LAPD station on Thursday.

A lawyer for Sheen, however, called move a "publicity stunt."

"We don't know anything about this and haven't been served with any court papers," the lawyer told us in an email. "Apparently, Brett Rossi went to the court secretly because she knew that if she provided notice to our client he would have had an opportunity to dispute her allegations and she would not have been granted a [temporary restraining order]. Mr. Sheen hasn't had any recent contact with Brett Rossi. This appears to be a publicity stunt on her part."

The person Sheen was supposedly talking to was not identified by the Enquirer, and the audio from the alleged phone call was not published, but the woman the Enquirer cited said the actor was referring to Rossi’s attempt to sue Sheen when he reportedly said: “I can’t be f--king extorted. It’s called treason. You know what treason is? It’s punishable by death.”

“I’d rather spend 20 grand to have her head kicked in. Then people will realize, oh, it’s dangerous,” the magazine reported Sheen as saying.

Sheen divulged that he was HIV+ in late 2015. He claims Rossi knew he was HIV+ when they had sex, but she said they had sex multiple times before she found out.
