ABC's "Modern Family" is in hot water with Peruvians. The show, which stars sexy Colombiana Sofía Vergara, has people complaining about a joke made at the expense of Peruvian pride.
The latest episode has Peruvian advocacy groups up in arms over a joke delivered by Vergara.When harangued by her husband in the show, Vergara's character anticipates his use of a string of stereotypical statements about Colombia, refuting them, but then imputing them instead to Perú.
