The French journalist newly freed by Colombian rebels says he has no plans to leave the conflict-scarred South American country he's called home for a decade.
Romeo Langlois told a news conference in Bogota that he was leaving Thursday for Paris to see his parents but plans to return because his work and best friends are in Colombia.The 35-year-old journalist was accompanying soldiers on a cocaine-lab destruction mission, on assignment for France24 television, on April 28 when rebels attacked. Four security force members were killed and Langlois was wounded in the arm.
