Sofia Vergara and her fiancé Nick Loeb have split up – again. The “Modern Family” announced the breakup on Friday via her Twitter and WhoSay accounts reports Us weekly.

"Not that anyone should care, but in order to not give the press the chance to invent crazy and hurtful drama, I prefer to tell my fans personally that Nick and I have decided to be apart," the 41-year-old wrote.

"We have been having too many problems with figuring out how to spend time together and because of my work and now his, its been getting worse and worse. Not fun anymore," she continued. "We are still very close but we believe it's the best thing for us right now." Their last public appearance was at the White House Correspondent’s Dinner earlier this month.

Vergara and businessman Loeb, 38, who is a tireless promoter of his product called Onion Crunch, a battered fried onion topping, first began dating in 2010 when they were introduced by mutual friends. Their relationship quickly turned serious six months later when Vergara helped nurse Loeb after he broke his pelvis in a car accident.

They broke up in May 2012 only to reconcile and get engaged two months later while celebrating Vergara’s 40th birthday in Mexico. The couple had discussed having children with Vergara going so far as to freeze her eggs.

The sexy Colombian actress has a 21-year-old son named Manolo with her ex-husband Joe Gonzalez and has been linked to singer Craig David, actor Donal Logue and Tom Cruise.
