You know Darrell Hammond for his amazing Bill Clinton impression, not to mention his Dick Cheney and Al Gore. But behind the scenes, the "Saturday Night Live" cast member was using crack, cocaine and cutting himself, not to mention drinking heavily, he reveals in a new memoir.
"I kept a pint of Remy in my desk at work," Hammond, 56, recalls in "God, If You're Not Up There, I’m F*cked," out Nov. 8 from HarperCollins, according to The New York Post. "The drinking calmed my nerves and quieted the disturbing images that sprang into my head ... when drinking didn't work, I cut myself."

It gets even worse. In 1998, police officers escorted Hammond from NBC to New York Hospital in a straitjacket. "My wife came but I didn’t recognize her," he writes, according to the Post.
In 2002, Hammond confesses, "I'd started adding an obscene amount of cocaine to my binges." And in 2009, after having gone to rehab once, Hammond relapsed. "I had the brilliant idea I should try crack," he says, revealing that he spent some time in a Harlem, N.Y., crack house.
