From the website:
Heart disease remains the #1 killer of women in the United States, claiming more lives than all forms of cancer combined. This threat exists because too many women are not receiving basic, preventive screenings for heart disease, and the information and support they need to maintain their heart health. Now is the time to change the national conversation and for the entire health care community to step up and address this dangerous gap.
We need changes in our health care system to bring cardiovascular screenings to women where they are. Women need to be screened in all the places they typically seek what amounts to primary care: at their OB/GYN offices, in pharmacy-based clinics, urgent care facilities and community health centers.
