If you’re a fan of “Sharknado” then you saw Ryan Newman in the threequel “Oh Hell No” playing the daughter of Tara Reid and Ian Ziering’s characters. Currently starring on Nickelodeon’s “The Thundermans," the actress spoke to FOX411 about the next “Sharknado” and which characters will survive the cinematic shark attack.

FOX411: Did Tara Reid offer you any advice on how to perfect your terrified “I’m running from a flying shark” scream?

Ryan Newman: Was it good? Is that what you’re saying? Well, honestly the whole movie you have to pretend it’s for real because you’re there and you’re filming and there are no sharks so you know that’s all in CGI. It’s like you’re filming this crazy action movie and you have to be actually frightened from it to really work, and then be funny from it because it’s these CGI sharks.

FOX411: Do you have a true fear that would make you terrified?

Newman: No, I don’t have a certain fear of sharks. I wouldn’t put myself in a situation where I would be around them to say the least so I guess you could say I’m scared of them but yeah that has never been a fear of mine; just the idea of death coming. People don’t normally survive “Sharknado” unless you’re a Shepard.

FOX411: What was it like working with TV stars like Ian, Tara and of course David “The Hoff” Hasselhoff?

Newman: David Hasselhoff played my grandfather and I have never met David Hasselhoff still to this day. But I’m literally in scenes with David Hasselhoff, and I’ve never met him because we filmed in Florida and he filmed his stuff in LA. So, they shot it around it and fixed it in editing. So, he didn’t give me any information because I never met him. Just watching them (Ian and Tara) do their thing, I mean, they know what they’re doing. I remember early on in filming watching Ian film his crazy scene. It’s like the last scene of the movie where he’s fighting off sharks and tumbling and everything and that really helped me to see what to do. When you’re filming it, the sharks come in after so basically it depends on how you move.

FOX411: Is there going to be a “Sharknado 4: Hell Hath No Fury,” or something?

Newman: I have no idea what the tagline for it is going to be but yeah there’s going to be a “Sharknado 4,” and I guess fans are going to decide if Tara’s character lives or dies.

FOX411: And your character?

Newman: I don’t know. I really promise. It’s one of those things I really don’t know.

FOX411: You played the daughter of Scott Baio. He starred on shows like “Happy Days” and “Charles in Charge.” Like you he was a teen star. Has he advised you in any way about the entertainment industry?

Newman: He kind of became like a father figure to me in a way but he just said keep your family close which I already do. He’s very close with his family and yeah, try and keep your head straight. Lean on your family.

FOX411: Your boyfriend, Jack Griffo, on TV is also your boyfriend in real life. Why have you decided to be so public when many celebs tend to shy away from sharing too much about their personal life?

Newman: Well, to a certain extent we’re open to the public. People know we are together but we still have a private relationship.
