Selena Gomez has a huge smile on her face these days, and sources say it could be thanks to a new budding relationship.
The pop singer was photographed in New York City this week at the famed Cipriani restaurant in what appeared to be a cozy dinner with Samuel Krost, who is known to rubbing elbows with young A-list stars like Gigi Hadid.
According to E! News, Gomez sported a shiny red cocktail dress with a white collar and sat close to Krost with the romantic vibes surrounding the two.
Mutual friend Cully Smoller was also with them.
The 23-year-old “Good for You” singer scooted closer to her rumored boyfriend and even sat on Krost’s lap at one point. She seemingly kissed the side of his head while whispering something into his ear.
The couple was also photographed holding hands as they left the restaurant.
According to Us Weekly, Krost is a recent New York University business grad who frequently hangs out with Gigi and Bella Hadid. His LinkedIn account states that he is a sales and merchandising executive for Onia, a men’s accessories company, and previously worked for Helmut Lang.
While the duo looked to be getting hot and heavy, the singer told E! News on Tuesday night, on the red carpet for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, that she is just playing the field "a little bit, but no, I'm definitely single."
However, photos continue to show otherwise. Gomez and Krost both attended the fashion show's after-party.
They arrived separately, but according to E! News they were spotted leaving three hours later - via different exits.
