In the past few years, Puerto Rican pop star Ricky Martin has had a #1 album, #1 single, and best-selling book. However, he's not stopping there!
On Tuesday night, Martin will make a guest appearance on the hit TV show Glee in his highly buzzed about role of David Martinez, a Spanish teacher who helps the Glee kids channel their inner Latino.
Martin steals the show with a duet of Madonna’s “La Isla Bonita” with Naya Rivera. However, it’s Martin’s bilingual rendition of LMFAO’s “I’m Sexy and I know It” that really has people talking.
Martin's popularity has grown so much that he has reached 5 million followers on twitter.
The singing sensation took to his website to post a thank you video to his fans.
Martin’s return to television isn’t the only project he has been working on – he will be returning to Broadway in the revival of the musical Evita, playing the role of revolutionary Che Guevara.
Previews for the musical begin March 12 and opening night is scheduled for April 5.
