One of Hollywood’s most lovable actresses got real about the glitz and the glam with reporters at the 88th Annual Oscar Nominee Luncheon at The Beverly Hilton on Monday.

“It's always really not glamorous when you go home at the end of the night,” she said. “It’s so sad. You just like, fall on the floor in a puddle. It's so fun, but you really do feel like you turn into a pumpkin, in the best way.”

McAdams is nominated by the Academy for Best Supporting Actress for her role in “Spotlight.” It is her first nomination for an Oscar.

Her nomination for the movie is just one of six for the film that also stars Mark Ruffalo, Liev Schreiber and Michael Keaton.

She had nothing but love for her mostly male "Spotlight" co-stars.

“They are a good group of boys!” she gushed.

At the SAG Awards, the cast of “Spotlight” won Best Ensemble in a Motion Picture. The 37-year-old Canadian actress even shared a little secret about what she did after the SAG Awards.

"I shouldn't say this out loud because Elie Saab might kill me, but I had a great photo shoot with my sister's chihuahua on the dress after the SAG Awards with the SAG Award,” she revealed. “Don't tell anyone I did that!"
