Dennis Day, an original Mickey Mouse Club Mouseketeer who starred in the variety show in the 1950s, reportedly has been missing since July.

Day, 76, of Phoenix, Ore., starred on “The Mickey Mouse Club” when he was 12. He vanished in July 2018, KOBI-TV reported.

Day’s husband, Ernie Caswell, reported the former Mouseketeer missing. His sister, Nelda Adkins, told “Dateline” one of her relatives learned her brother was missing following a television report.

“He saw it on the news broadcast and called us immediately,” Adkins told “Dateline.” “I called Phoenix Police Department the very next day and we’ve been working on it ever since. The whole family got in on it.”

Adkins said police did not contact her family because “they didn’t have any record of family” besides Day's husband, who has dementia and lives in an assisted living facility.

Authorities told “Dateline” the Phoenix Police Department and Jackson County Sheriff’s Office were handling the case.

Lt. Jeff Price of the Phoenix Police Department told USA Today that Day’s bank account has remained untouched and his car was discovered about 200 miles away from his home. The two people driving the car were “unfamiliar to Day and his partner.”

“There was no evidence of a crime there, there was no evidence of a crime in the car,” Price told KOBI-TV.

A roommate who lived with Day told authorities he did not know the whereabouts of the former Mouseketeer. Price said the roommate had Day’s debit card.

"It's a nightmare of a case," Price told USA Today. "He just up and left, and we have no idea what direction he went or if he left voluntarily or not."

Adkins said she is trying to spread awareness of her missing brother through local media and Facebook.

"I wake up every morning with a prayer they will find him and let me know," she told USA Today. "I'm trying to keep him on everybody's mind and spread the word as far as possible, in case somebody somewhere knows something."

A rep for the Phoenix Police Department did not immediately respond to Fox News' request for comment.
