Nick Cannon has been released from the hospital after undergoing kidney surgery, his rep confirmed on Monday to US Weekly magazine.

From the looks of it "America’s Got Talent" host faced his kidney failure without losing his sense of humor.

“Just left the operating table and I was awake during the whole procedure. #OUCH,” Cannon posted on his Twitter account. “Recovering... about to be stronger than ever! #Ncredible!”

Despite dealing with his health issues, the star took some time to congratulate his colleagues and friends, power couple Jay-Z and Beyoncé , who recently had a baby girl Blue Ivy Carter.

“CANNON'S COUNTDOWN: Congratulations To Jay-Z And Beyonce On Their Baby Girl!” Cannon continued. He then went ahead to linking info on the new celebrity baby girl on his web page Cannon’s Countdown with Nick Cannon.

Cannon’s wife, singer Mariah Carey revealed last week Wednesday that Cannon had been admitted into a hospital in Colorado:

“Please pray for Nick as he's fighting to recover from a mild kidney failure. #mybraveman” Carey posted on her Twitter account.

She then added a photo of herself and Cannon on the hospital bed.

By late Wednesday Cannon informed his fans that he was on his way to another facility in Los Angeles.

“Currently being transferred to a hospital in L.A.,” Cannon posted Wednesday afternoon.

“Thank you all for all your love, prayers and concern.”

“You know me... I will be a'ight,” added the star.

Cannon’s rep said the star is currently resting at home with Carey and their 6-month-old twins Moroccan and Monroe.

"Nick was released over the weekend to be with his family," Cannon's rep told Us Weekly magazine in a statement.

"He is resting and recovering at home and would like to thank everyone who has expressed concern, well wishes and prayers."

Carey tweeted that her “Daddy Nick” was “getting better.”

“We're all home together taking care of each other,” said Carey. “Excited about the new year!!”
