Michael Lohan, the father of actress Lindsay Lohan, was arrested by police in Tampa, Fla., early Tuesday after a domestic dispute and charged with battery.
Police said he was picked up around 1:10am local time and taken to St. Joseph's Hospital after complaining to officers about chest pains.
Michael Lohan was involved in a domestic dispute with his ex-girlfriend, police said. After being taken to the hospital, officers placed Lohan under arrest and transported him to the Orient Road Jail.
Lohan's ex-girlfriend, Kate Major, claimed the dispute began when she refused to perform oral sex on him. According to a report from TMZ, he also told her he would "slit both his wrist and her wrist. He also threatened to throw her off the balcony (4th floor)."
Major also claims he threw a remote control at her and smashed her cell phone. She added that he smashed his head on a door and threatened to blame the injuries on her.
Lohan was arrested in March and accused of holding an ex-girlfriend against her will, according to records.
