A few Latino stars celebrated the Fourth of July in New York City and showed their patriotism by entertaining the masses before sitting back and enjoying the largest pyrotechnics display in the nation.

Mariah Carey, Selena Gomez and Pitbull were among the performers at the 37th annual “Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular” preceding an hour full of fireworks titled “It Begins With a Spark.”

Carey opened the show with the classic “America the Beautiful” and was later joined by Miguel to showcase the duo’s hit “#Beautiful.” Her third performance was a tribute to the men and women who fight for the freedom we celebrate every Independence Day, as she sang “Hero” which was accompanied by a video montage honoring America’s troops.

Gomez had the crowd dancing with her new hit single “Come and Get It” and Pitbull pumped them up with the firework-accompanied “Give Me Everything.”

Other performances included Taylor Swift with “Everything Has Changed” and “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” Cher with “Woman’s World” and Tim McGraw with “Something Like That.”

The Macy’s event was hosted by Nick Cannon and lasted for two hours, immediately followed by an hour-long fireworks show over New York City’s Hudson River.
