Mariah Carey is not putting up with Nicki Minaj antics anymore on “American Idol.”

The “Triumphant” singer allegedly threatened to not come back next week to be a judge on the popular singing competition, if the arguing with Minaj continues, an insider told FoxNews.com

Carey and Minaj have been at odds since the beginning of the season, but last week, when reports surfaced that Jennifer Lopez had been contacted by “Idol” producers to replace Carey (and pump up the ratings), Minaj taunted the diva via Twitter calling her “insecure” and “bitter.”

"JLO’s phone is ringing,” she wrote, because she is confident unlike Carey.

“Mariah doesn’t want to come back, Nicky is really disrespecting her and she’s tired of trying to bite her tongue all the time,” said the source.”

“One night Nicky tried to be kind of nice, but Mariah didn’t bite, so I guess she figured screw that.”

The source also said that because Carey feels she “doesn’t need the platform” of “American Idol,” she is considering not returning to the show even if Minaj decides to leave.

“She’s done with it all. She doesn’t need the platform, and all the drama isn’t healthy for her,” said the source. “She’s also under fire with the producers for not being critical enough of the contestants.”

So far Carey and her team have kept mum about her decision to allegedly leave “Idol” before the finale next week.
