Lindsay Lohan Bares Fangs in Vampire Photo Exhibition

She started as a promising child star, but nobody could have predicted how things would go from there.  

Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan has bared her fangs in a biting shoot for celebrity photographer Tyler Shields, the New York Post reported Tuesday.

The 24-year-old "Mean Girls" star spent Saturday at Shields' "Life Is Not A Fairytale" exhibition in Los Angeles, which featured images of the star vamping it up as a vampire.

The exhibition was a welcome distraction from Lohan's legal troubles, where she is expected Wednesday to plead no contest to stealing a $2,500 necklace from a Los Angeles jewelry store.

The photographs show Lohan with scarlet red lips and pearly white fangs. In one shot, in which she posed with "The Vampire Diaries" star Michael Trevino, Lohan was captured biting into the movie star's neck.

"Lindsay loves vampires," Shields said. "It's well documented that she is a vampire fan, and I said we need to do the craziest vampire mouth shot ever with her mouth."

Lohan will plead no contest to the necklace theft charges at a pretrial hearing Wednesday in exchange for doing her time in house arrest, according to reports.

Even though Lohan would be in her comfy Los Angeles apartment instead of jail, she could still score the same good-behavior points as if she were locked up. That could mean Lohan's actual time confined could be just a few weeks.

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles city attorney declined to comment. Lohan's lawyer and probation officials did not return messages seeking comments.
