Justin Bieber, who is vacationing in Mexico this week, was ejected from a national park in the Yucatán Peninsula on Thursday for reportedly dropping his pants and exposing his derriere to park officials.
Numerous tourists were at the site when the pop star arrived in Tulum, a Mayan ruin on the coast some 80 miles south of Cancún, at about 4 p.m. According to El Diario de Mexico, after some shouting and shoving, Bieber and his group were escorted out by park personnel.
A representative of the country’s National Institute of Anthropology and History, Adriana Velázquez Morlett, told the local newspaper La Razón, that the singer and his entourage of about half a dozen people were asked to leave the park for “excessive acts,” although she did not specify what those were.
People at the park told El Diario that Bieber and his crew – which appeared to include a couple of bodyguards – arrived with beers but were told that they couldn’t bring them into the site, which appeared to upset the group.
Spain’s El País reported that Bieber, 21, pretended to try to climb one of the ruined structures at the site, which isn’t allowed, after which he attempted to expose himself to park personnel, which proved to be the last straw.
Park officers were dispatched to get federal police on the site, but “their intervention wasn’t necessary,” INAH’s Velázquez Morlett told La Razón.
During the last week, Bieber has been touring the Mayan Riviera with Hailey Baldwin, who he’s rumored to be romantically involved with, and other friends.
