Jennifer Lopez Receives Diamond Ring From Casper Smart As A Birthday Gift

Jennifer Lopez and her much younger beau Casper Smart are still as solid as a rock – and that rock is now a diamond.

Lopez received a sparkling diamond ring from her man just last week. However that doesn’t mean these two are headed down the aisle just yet.

Smart gifted his lady the new bling in honor of her 44th birthday, which Lopez celebrated on July 24th.

Along with the one-of-a-kind 40’s vintage gold and diamond ring, Smart also picked out a yellow gold and diamond chain link bracelet from the 70s, People magazine reports.

According to the owner of Platt Boutique in Los Angeles where Smart purchased the gems, this is the first time he purchased vintage baubles for his lady.

“He told me he had bought her jewelry before, but never vintage, so he wanted to go in a different direction, something one-of-a-kind,” owner Larry Platt said.

“He has a very good eye and knew what he wanted,” Platt added.

“He was looking for vintage pieces that had a chic, modern feel to them. He told me that there are only two pieces of jewelry that Jennifer wears on a daily basis, so he wanted to pick pieces that he felt she would wear all the time and could go with everything.”

On her actual birthday, Smart shared his love for the birthday girl on Twitter.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my very very beautiful bear the nicest, sweetest, funniest, sexiest bear there is!" Smart tweeted, referring to his nickname for Lopez. "Love u."

After celebrating her birthday a weekend early in the Hamptons with a big backyard barbecue, a source close to Lopez told U.S. Weekly the couple was doing “great.”

"Casper is fantastic and they are in a good groove right now and the kids are adorable,” the insider said.
