Jennifer Lawrence stepped away from the "X-Men: Apocalypse" set to pay a visit to a Montreal children's hospital over the weekend.

The 24-year-old Oscar winner was all smiles as she snapped photos with kids and staff members at Shriners Hospital for Children.

"A very special visitor stopped by our Canada hospital today," Shriners Hospital said on its Facebook page. "Jennifer Lawrence is in Montreal filming a new movie and she made time to visit some of our #ShrinersCanada kids and staff. Everyone had a great time!"

Lawrence is reprising her role as Mystique in the upcoming "X-Men: Apocalypse" movie, which also star Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult, and Oscar Isaac. The sequel hits theaters on May 27, 2016.


While Lawrence left the kids and staff at the children's hospital star struck, she admitted she also gets excited over seeing certain celebrities.

During the 2015 Comic-Con in San Diego, California, "The Hunger Games" star got super excited upon meeting Bill Murray.

"I kind of spoke to him through Woody Harrelson. I would send emails to Woody, mostly when I was drunk, of things I always wanted to say to Bill Murray. So he received them," Lawrence told the press at the event. "So just the fact that Bill Murray knows that I exist was part one. Part two, he wanted to speak to me. And he like, mentioned something about us working together, I don’t know! I'm excited about that, that was cool."
