Jennifer Aniston is fighting back against all the constant tabloid speculation surrounding her personal life.

In a new interview with Carson Daly that aired on Today Wednesday, Aniston, 45, addresses all the reports that constantly hypothesize on whether she's pregnant, or when she'll be tying the knot again.

Referencing an interview she had with Gloria Steinem in February, Aniston explains that her worth as a woman isn't defined by having birthed a child.

"It was so great because I've talked to her [Steinem] personally about this for a while, just because it's always such an issue of, like, 'Are you married yet, have you had your babies yet?' and it's just constant. And I’m like, 'Well, I don't know,'" she says. "I don't have this sort of checklist of things that have to be done, and … if they're not checked, then I've failed some part of my feminism or my being a woman or my worth and my value as a woman, because I haven't birthed a child."

"I've birthed a lot of things, and I feel like I've mothered many things, and I don't think it's fair to put that pressure on people," she adds.

As to why people seem to be obsessed with Aniston's personal life even more so than other A-listers, the Friends star is just as bemused as anyone.

"If you have an answer to that, please let me know," she tells Daly. "I don't know -- I don't know."

This isn't the first time Aniston has talked about the pressures of aging in Hollywood – earlier this month, she admitted that she wishes her friends would lay off the Botox.

"I think, what I have been witness to, is seeing women trying to stay ageless with what they are doing to themselves. I am grateful to learn from their mistakes, because I am not injecting sh*t into my face," she told Yahoo Beauty. "I see them and my heart breaks. I think, 'Oh god if you only know how much older you look.' They are trying to stop the clock and all you can see is an insecure person who won't let themselves just age."
