“Dancing with the Stars’” Latin week was hot and sexy -- but also dangerous as competitors suffered such ailments as an aching back, a busted lip, hurt ribs, and a sprained thumb.

Amid the pain, gymnast Nastia Liukin continued to soar, tying with singer Riker Lynch for first place with a score of 34 out of 40, while model Charlotte McKinney was eliminated after tying with Patti LaBelle for the night’s low score of 22 points.

Monday night’s episode opened with viewers seeing Rumer Willis jumping spread eagle on dance partner Val Chmerkovskiy’s face while rehearsing their routine at a roller rink. But her crotch hit him so hard that it split open his lip.

Backstage, Willis assured FOX411 that his lip had recovered: “As soon as he had seen that it wasn’t that bad, he was like, ‘All right, we’re going to do it again.’ I was like, ‘Are you sure?’ ”

Willis said his lip had swelled up “pretty big.” She laughed, “He looked like he had taken a trip to the dermatologist.”

All was well, though, and Chmerkovskiy guided Willis to a huge score of 33 for their lively salsa disco dance set to “Turn the Beat Around.”

Bruce Willis and Demi Moore’s daughter wore a ‘70s-style midriff-baring sparkly outfit that had judge Carrie Ann Inaba comparing her banging body to Moore in the movie Striptease.

“I felt very naked but it was fun, man!” Willis exulted to reporters after the show. “I had the best time tonight.”

“Hunger Games” star Willow Shields also had some drama in rehearsal as show clips revealed her rib cage landed hard on partner Mark Ballas’ thigh. Later, the 14-year-old actress was seen moaning, “I can’t breathe,” during dress rehearsal.

But Shields and Ballas were once again impressive on performance night, getting a score of 32 for their paso doble.

And backstage, the 14-year-old told FOX411, “I got really scared. One rib popped out of place and so they had to pop it back in. It hurts, but now it’s just a bruise. It’s sore but okay. I had to push through it.”

In another painful rehearsal moment, viewers saw gymnast Liukin get injured when partner Derek Hough accidentally stepped on her left thumb during rehearsal of the samba.

“I saw a doctor. It was really black and blue but it’s better now,” Liukin told FOX411.

Hough said of the sprain, “We really thought it was broken because it was bleeding but luckily, we’re good.”

Meanwhile, in his TV clip, “Shark Tank” star Robert Herjavec was shown doubled over in pain with back issues while his partner Kym Johnson tried to help him.

“I had an injury a few years ago from car racing,” Herjavec told FOX411 backstage. “I hit a wall in Brazil and put my back out but we’re fine now. We’re over that.”

Johnson (Herjavec’s rumored girlfriend off the set) said she brought him ice and Advil. And he didn’t show any distress during the performance as the two looked romantic in the rumba that earned 29 out of 40 points.

Double amputee war veteran Noah Galloway had his own struggles in rehearsal as he tried to use a prosthetic arm but ultimately decided to ditch it for the performance.

With his partner Sharna Burgess by his side, Galloway exclusively told FOX411, “It was so stressful trying to adapt to the arm and trying to learn the dance in the amount of time that we had. It was actually a huge relief [when] we decided this isn’t going to work.”

And as usual, Galloway performed beautifully with one arm, picking up Burgess throughout the dance and earning 30 points for his Argentine tango. “When I lifted her, I heard the cheers,” he smiled backstage.

Also on Monday night’s “DWTS,” Suzanne Somers amused the crowd looking like Carmen Miranda and dancing samba to the song “Copacabana,” getting a score of 25.

Still wearing her fruit hat, Somers exclusively told FOX411 after the show, “I had a ball! Maybe I had too much fun. I was flying out there and I was so happy but there’s this one spot I kind of spaced out on and [partner Tony Dovolani] looks at me and is going, ‘Side together, side together!’…and I said, ‘Oh, s--t!”
