Tiger Woods just won his first tournament since his massive cheating scandal erupted two years ago. Those two years were unkind to the former best golfer in the world, as his ranking tumbled, his marriage dissolved, and his endorsements dried up.
But the years were not unkind to one of his extramarital partners, porn star Joslyn James.
James has been trying to go from mistress to mogul since her affair with the golf great made national headlines, hoping to capitalize on her steamy image with a nail polish line expected to hit shelves next year.
“I did all the developing for the line, which we are calling Shameless,” James told Fox411.com. "I am a huge cosmetics and nail polish junkie. I am launching 13 colors in 2012 and hope to launch another 13 every year.”
(The polishes would seem to have a limited clientele with names like “Not Just a Porn Star,” “More Than a Mistress,” and “36DD.”)
Back in late 2009, James came forward as the 11th alleged mistress of Woods. She claimed the two had a long time affair lasting several years. She also released a slew of raunchy text messages between her and the golfer.
James says she took a break from the porn industry while she was with the golfer and recently began making films again. James estimates she has starred in about 26 adult films in the past year.
"When Tiger and I got serious I stopped doing porn,” James tells Fox411. “Since being back I have to say I haven’t had a bad experience. I have never done anything I didn’t want to do. I think people get really wrapped up in the whole seedy part of it, but it really is what you make of it.”
James supplements her income by making appearances at clubs across the country.
“I do a lot of conventions because I like to talk to people and answer people’s questions. Everyone has their own idea about the mistress thing and when they meet me and talk to me they see I am not this villainous creature," she said. "I am human I am not perfect and it is all about learning and not making the same mistake twice.”
James says she believes she has grown a lot in the past two years since the scandal broke and that her personal growth has gotten her more involved in charity work with various organizations that raise money for cancer awareness, domestic abuse and drug abuse recovery. She is living in Los Angeles and says her life today is pretty low key compared to others in her industry.
“I’m a homebody. I don’t go to the porn parties I pretty much keep to myself. I’m a low maintenance girl,” James said.
Even though the notoriety that she earned as one of Woods' many mistresses is now providing her with a launch pad to do start her business venture, James says she believes the scandal hurt her more than it helped.

“I don’t think it helped me. From my experience it put me under a microscope to allow people to take out their pent out their frustrations about what is wrong with the world on me. Its okay, I am a strong person and I can take it,” James said. “What I didn’t understand were the death threats and the people who were straight out mean. They think because I made a mistake I don’t have a heart. That just hurt.”
