For all you diehard Gloria Estefan fans, rejoice in knowing that the Conga Queen is back!
The Cuban-American singer is featured in the pioneering percussionist Escovedo Family’s new album “Now & Forever,” planned for release on Thursday, Feb. 10th.
The seven-time Grammy award-winning artist announced the new track, "I Take It Back," on her web site on Monday.
With 13 tracks of various genres such as Latin, hip-hop and Jazz, the new CD will include artists such as Earth,Wind & Fire and Joss Stone, to name a few.
Estefan has also confirmed her new collaboration with hip-hop star and music producer Pharell Williams and The Neptunes for her 11th studio album, as first reported by Entertainment blogger Pérez Hilton.
“We are working on something really cool,” Estefan said in the interview. “He has some really good ideas. It’s just that between his schedule and my schedule it's rough. But, we are going to do it.”
