We haven't seen the last of Vin Diesel and his crew!

At a CinemaCon panel in Las Vegas on Thursday, Diesel said "Furious 8" already has a release date: April 14, 2017.

Box office: 'Furious 7' stays on top

The actor held back tears as he reminisced how, just two years ago, he and Paul Walker announced the seventh installment in the franchise on that same stage in Las Vegas.

"We were giddy and excited," said Diesel, according to Variety. "You all gave me so much confidence. There was so much love."

Before announcing the eighth movie, the audience watched the Walker montage from the last few minutes of "Furious 7."

Furious 7 has made immense boatloads of money, holding the No. 1 spot at the box office for three weeks in a row. It's pulled in more than $1.15 billion worldwide and is on track to make more then $1.4 billion in total. It is currently the seventh-highest grossing movie of all time; $1.4 billion would put it at No. 4, just behind "Avatar," "Titanic," and "Avengers." The Fast and Furious franchise has grossed more than $3.5 billion.

Nothing else was announced about the film, but we have some ideas for titles based on their past wordplay. How about "Fast & Infuri8ed?"
