Christina Milian had been mum amid the growing rumors of her romance with rapper Lil Wayne. But during an interview on Big Boy’s Real 92.3 radio show in Los Angeles, the 33-year-old singer and reality star not only seemed to confirm their relationship — she confessed she loves him.
“Honestly, he’s not a public kind of guy; he’s not a public figure,” Milian started when she addressed her rumored love, after much prodding by Big Boy. “If you look at his Twitter, he tweets every now and then. He just started an Instagram (account). You don’t really see him out much. He really is like: studio, skate park, eat, studio, skate park.”
Then, after some more questions about Wayne, Milian admitted, “He’s the sweetest. I love him. He’s a great guy.”
The singer also said a diamond ring on her finger was not in fact an engagement ring from the rapper.
“It was just a sweet little gift. A nice gesture,” she said.
But she did continue to reiterate that she loves the rapper.
“So, do you love Lil Wayne?” Big Boy asked again. Laughing, Milian responded, “I just said it! I do. I love him.”
The pair, who has been spotted out and about together for several months, had been relatively quiet about their relationship status.
In January, Milian refused to acknowledge that the rapper was her boyfriend during an appearance on “The Wendy Williams Show.”
“He’s my man crush … How about that?” she offered when pressed about their romance.
