Bill Murray participated in an "Ask Me Anything" Reddit session on Friday, and fielded questions about everything from "Saturday Night Live" to why he did the "Garfield" movie.

The comedian said he believes the recent SNL cast, led by Kristen Wiig, is the best group since the original ensemble. "They were my favorite group. Some really talented people that were all comedians of some kind or another. You think about Dana Carvey, Phil Hartman, all these wonderful funny guys. But the last group with Kristen Wiig and those characters, they were a bunch of actors and their stuff was just different," Murray said.

Murray also divulged that the movie he had the most fun filming was 2005's "Broken Flowers" ("When it was done, I thought 'this movie is so good, I thought I should stop"), and that he mistakenly believed he was doing a Coen Brothers film when he signed on for "Garfield"  because the screenplay was credited to "Joel Cohen."
