Singing power couple Beyoncé Knowles and Jay-Z surprised club goers over the weekend when they stopped for a visit at a dance club in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

The club, Euphoria, announced their visit on its official Twitter account posting several snapshots of the singer and the rapper.

“Because #WeAreEuphoria #JayZ #Beyonce hanging out with us!!” the club tweeted in Spanish on Saturday night.

According to the club, Knowles, 32, and her rapper husband, whose real name is Shawn Carter,44, arrived with Dominican baseball player Robinson Cano, who moved from the New York Yankees to the Seattle Mariners during the off-season.

The superstars were joined by a team of security that kept fans at bay.

In the images posted on Twitter by the club, Knowles can be seen facing away from the camera wearing a black-and-white printed shirt. Her husband is seen walking behind her wearing a white button-down shirt.

In a video posted on Instagram, the “Single Ladies” singer and the “Empire State of Mind” rapper can be seen dancing together to merengue music.

According to Dominican media reports, the couple was staying at the exclusive hotel Casa de Campo, in La Romana, about two hours east of the capital Santo Domingo. Details of their stay are unknown.
