Celebrities penned messages of support to the people of Barcelona after a van careened into a tourist area on Thursday.
Antonio Banderas, a native of Spain, took to Twitter to express his grief.
"Fundidos en un abrazo con #Barcelona," he wrote, which translates to "sending a hug to Barcelona."
Other celebrities chimed in with their thoughts and prayers.
