Armie Hammer shares throwback mug shot on Instagram

Armie Hammer: actor, father, lawbreaker?

On Tuesday, the “Call Me by Your Name” lead posted a throwback mug shot on his Instagram.

Hammer was arrested at the border patrol checkpoint in Sierra Blanca, Texas, for marijuana possession in 2011, as TMZ first reported.

Specifically, he was allegedly toting .02 grams of weed-infused edibles: three cookies and one brownie.

Hammer’s Instagram caption reads, “It might not be Thursday, but this throwback seems worth it . . . #godblesstexas.” The post is geo-tagged “Sierra Blanca checkpoint.”

The notorious checkpoint, where Hammer geo-tagged the mug shot, is known for busting pot-lovers on the road. Other celebrities allegedly caught with weed at the checkpoint include Snoop Dogg, Fiona Apple and Willie Nelson, according to Texas Monthly.

Hammer spent one day in the slammer before being released on a $1,000 bond. The charges were later dropped.

Despite his (short-lived) jail time, it seems the movie star is still toking up. On the set of his latest film, “Sorry To Bother You,” Hammer allegedly handed off some ganja to co-star Omari Hardwick for safekeeping, Page Six reports.
