"American Horror Story: Freak Show" actor Dalton Gray was injured in a car crash Saturday night in Los Angeles.

"Dalton was hit by a drunk driver Saturday night," a post on the star's official Facebook page read. "We are so grateful for everyone's love, support and prayers. He was pretty banged up and has some physical therapy ahead but Dalton will come back stronger. Much love to everyone!"

According to TMZ, the actor, who played Master Mike on "AHS," was left nearly blind after an alleged drunk driver crashed into the car he was riding in.

The gossip site reports that Gray also shattered his hip/pelvis and femur. He also sustained injuries to his face and is suffering from serious eye trauma, TMZ reports.

Gray shared a picture of himself on Facebook.

(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js#xfbml=1&version=v2.3"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);}(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));

TMZ reports doctors performed reconstructive surgery to Gray's face and removed glass from his eye, but the actor is expected to recover his vision. The site also reports that the driver has been arrested by police and remains in jail.

Earlier this year, fellow "American Horror Story" actor Ben Woolf died four days after being hit by a car in Los Angeles.
