"Friday Night Lights" actress and self-proclaimed comic book fan Adrianne Palicki is set to guest-star as Marvel super spy Bobbi Morse in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Palicki will appear in the fifth episode as field agent Morse, a.ka. Mockingbird.
The arrival of her character was teased in July at Comic-Con when "S.H.I.E.L.D." star Patton Oswalt confirmed the existence of Life Model Decoys in the show, suggesting that Palicki's character could appear in season two.
Palicki previously starred in NBC's infamous "Wonder Woman" pilot that wasn't picked up as well as a role in The WB's "Aquaman" pilot.
She joins new hires Kyle MacLachlan and Lucy Lawless in "S.H.I.E.L.D."
