Adriana Lima is officially back on the market.
Nearly two years after announcing their separation, the Brazilian supermodel has finalized her divorce from Serbian basketball player Marko Jaric.
According to the New York Post's Page Six, the terms of their settlement are confidential; however, she is expected to retain primary custody of their two daughters, Valentina, 6, and Sienna, 3.
An attorney for Lima had no comment.
The Victoria’s Secret model, 35, and the former NBA player, 37, announced their separation in May 2014 after five years marriage.
“After long and careful consideration, we have decided to separate after five years of marriage,” they said in a joint statement to People magazine at the time. “We are grateful to be the parents of two incredible young daughters [who] we will continue to co-parent. We would greatly appreciate your respect for our family’s privacy, as we begin this delicate next chapter for all members of our family.”
The former couple met at a Los Angeles party in 2006 and got engaged two years later. They married on Valentine’s Day in 2009 in a private civil ceremony in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Lima, a devout Catholic, was engaged to singer Lenny Kravitz in 2002, but broke it off less than a year later.
According to Page Six, since her separation from Jaric, Lima has been photographed in Miami kissing “a tattooed-but-unnamed hunk,” while Jaric was linked in the press last year with the 24-year-old Serbian model, Dusica Savic.
