When "The Unborn" star Gary Oldman (above with co-star Odette Yustman) got married last week, reports mentioned he had once been married to Uma Thurman. Which caught us by surprise! Indeed, the two married in 1990 after meeting on the set of "State of Grace," and divorced two years later. This got us thinking: who else has Uma Thurman been involved with that we didn't know (or forgot) about?
Uma Thurman and John Cusack had a rumored little fling in the early 1990s. We're betting John Cusack would "Say Anything" to get her back. (Get it? Say anything? His old movie? Oh yeah.)
She dated Phil Joanou? Who? Yeah, exactly. This guy went out with Uma Thurman. He directed her in "State of Grace," where she fell for Gary Oldman. Yeah, weird.
Timothy Hutton was a big-time movie star when they dated in the mid-1990s. Now he's on a TBS series, and she's still a big-time movie star. Life sucks that way sometimes.
We're not sure about this rumor, but a little birdy told us she and Robert Downey Jr. dated in the 1980s. Uma was born in 1970, so its possible, but we're thinking probably not.
Although it has never been officially confirmed, Quentin Tarantino stirred suspicions when he responded with "I'm not saying that we haven't, and I'm not saying that we have" to a reporter when asked about a romance between he and his self-described "Muse," Uma.
For a while, it seemed to be the real deal between Uma and Ethan Hawke, who she met on the set of "Gattaca." The duo married in 1998 while Uma was pregnant with their first child but by 2002, they were kaput, and Ethan is now married to their former nanny. The idiot.
Uma found love in Milan at a party co-hosted by Gianni Versace and Tony Blair in 2002 where she met hotelier Andre Balazs. Sadly, their love was no longer after a two-year stretch.
Uma is now happily engaged to Franco-Swiss financier Arpad Busson, who previously dated supermodel Elle Macpherson. (Arpad, you dog!)We see this one working. (Not.)
