Demi Lovato is finally hitting the road to showcase her “Confidence” to the world.

The singer announced Monday that she would be traveling around North America with friend and fellow singer Nick Jonas on their “Future Now: The Tour.”

The pair, who first appeared together on Disney Channel’s “Camp Rock” in 2008, said the tour is all about the fans.

“The most important thing is taking the show on the road and getting to share this experience with all the fans that have supported this music for the past, you know, couple of years,” Lovato said on “Good Morning America” on Monday.

Jonas, who launched Safehouse Records label in May, added: “Demi and I were business partners and, obviously, have a long history of being friends, but the chief for us was about living in this moment, taking a step out individually over the last year-and-a-half, two years, and growing with our fans and then saying, you know, if there was ever a time to do it, it’s now. [We’re] so excited to get in front of our fans and rally curate the moment each night.”

Their announcement comes just days after rumors started swirling that the “Cool for the Summer” singer dumped ex-“American Idol” finalist Adam Lambert from the tour.

TMZ reported Friday that Lambert, who appeared beside Lovato on “Glee,” was unceremoniously dumped as the opening act for the tour and replaced with Jonas. Sources told the gossip site that Lambert had been locked in for the tour, but that Lovato and Jonas’ manager wanted the former Jonas Brother because “he’s hot now.” The website added that Lambert was angry.

However, both Lambert and Lovato took to Twitter over the weekend to squash the rumors, saying there were not hard feelings between the three and hinted that business negotiations were the culprit.

“Aww I love you all very much. No beef tween @ddlovato & @nickjonas and me. Biz negotiations are complex- why do we care about the #rumors?” he tweeted.

Later, Lovato also downplayed the rumors and questioned TMZ’s accuracy.

Just goes to show how accurate @TMZ really is... I (heart) you @adamlambert” she tweeted.

In a subsequent interview with ET Online, Lovato confirmed that “Adam and I are really good friends, and I love him.”
