Welcome to Twitterverse Cameron Diaz!

The 41-year-old actress may have joined the social media site a little late in the game, but that has not stopped fans and stars alike from flocking to her Twitter feed.

Diaz, using the handle @CameronDiaz, joined Twitter on Friday, Nov. 8 and has since garnered more than 205,000 followers as of Wednesday early afternoon.

“I JUST got a super cool new app called Twitter,” she wrote in her first message. “Twellooo!!!”

It was followed by, “Thank you for the warm welcome!! It’s so fun and I’m sorry I was so late to the party, now I know why everyone’s here!!”

The “Something About Mary” star’s profile picture is a quirky, silly selfie with her mouth open.

Some notable celebs she is keeping an eye on include Stella McCartney, Jessica Alba, JoAnna Garcia, baseball player Nick Swisher, Jimmy Fallon, Leonardo DiCaprio, Drew Barrymore, Reese Witherspoon and Chelsea Handler.

Since Diaz’s first tweet she has added nine more, include two honoring Veterans Day on Monday.

“Words cannot express the gratitude for our Veterans, past and present. But THANK YOU! #Veteransday,” she tweeted, followed by, “If you’d like to help support our Veterans. Check out my good friends @iava. They are fighting for our Vets as hard as they fought for us.”

Diaz is currently filming the new film adaptation of Annie, in which she both sings and dances as Miss Hannigan. She gave her followers an inside look into her character.

"I want you to meet someone. Her name is Ms.Hannigan. She ain't nice and she ain't pretty," she wrote.
