Sofia Vergara makes a good Peg Bundy.
While appearing on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” the Colombian actress gave fans a quick preview of her newest photo shoot with on-screen husband Ed O’Neill in which they both dressed up as his unforgettable Al Bundy role from "Married With Children."
Vergara dressed up as Peggy (originally played by Katey Sagal) and she looked fabulous channeling the TV wife with leopard-print leggings and big red hair.
“It was amazing. Yeah, I was dressed like that,” Vergara explained to Kimmel on Monday night. “(Ed) was very excited and he was telling me how to pose and he loved it. I think he liked it a lot.”
She added: “We used to watch ‘Married with Children’ in Colombia, but I always joked with Ed because he used to speak Spanish. “I always thought Ed spoke Spanish. He had a very sexy like Antonio Banderas voice, but then when I met him, he didn’t.”
The photo is part of the Hollywood Reporter’s upcoming list of Hollywood’s 100 Favorite TV Shows.
During her appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” Vergara also talked about her upcoming nuptial to actor Joe Manganiello.
The 43-year-old told the host that she will be having a lot of guests, but no bridesmaids.
“We’re very excited. We’ll kind of keep it a little private, but it’s been kind of impossible because people have been very excited in my family. It’s like 400 (people),” she said. “It was very hard (to cut down). We said ‘200 for you, 200 for me,’ but my 200 is like family, so I couldn’t invite many of my friends.”
Vergara and Manganiello, 39, are set to say “I do” at Florida’s Breakers Palm Beach resort in November.
