It seems that there are no hard feelings between Cameron Diaz and Alex Rodríguez.
The Yankees' third baseman told People magazine that the split was amicable.
"I have a lot of love for Cameron," Rodríguez told the entertainment publication. “We'll always be friends."
Rodríguez and Díaz began dating a year ago and were often spotted in warm embraces in the beaches of Miami and in NYC. Last week US Weekly reported that the two were no longer an item after multiple false alarms that the two had broken up.
And of course who could ever forget the Super Bowl popcorn moment when Díaz confidently fed her man.
An anonymous source told the publication that both of them “have considerable respect for each other.”
