Paul McCartney Engaged to Girlfriend Nancy Shevell

The Beatles legend, 68, is engaged to be married to his girlfriend Nancy Shevell, 51, his rep told US Weekly Friday.

“Nancy and Paul are getting married,” a source close to Shevell told People.com. “Ring and all – very exciting.”

The couple began dating in 2007 while McCartney was still in the middle of his divorce from Heather Mills.

McCartney lost his first wife Linda to cancer in 1998 after nearly thirty years of marriage.

He married Mills four years later before divorcing her in a settlement that cost him nearly $50 million.
