The Titan is ready to go to work.

After rolling out the crew cab versions of its new pickups earlier this year, Nissan has unveiled single cab models of its light duty Titan and “extra duty” Titan XD trucks.

Both feature a two-door body style with an 8-foot-long bed and standard bench seating for three. The center seat has a bin hidden below it, and its back can be folded down and used as armrest and is also equipped with cupholders and additional storage space.

Although their bodies are identical, the Titan and Titan XD ride on different frames. The light duty model is available with either a 310 hp V6 or 390 hp V8 gasoline engine, while the XD offers a choice of the gas V8 or a Cummins diesel V8 with 310 horsepower and 555 lb-ft of torque.

Payload and towing capabilities improve compared to the crew cab models across the board, with a maximum tow rating of 12,640 pounds for the single cab Titan XD diesel, which can be factory equipped with a gooseneck hitch.

Pricing for the single cab trucks, which will be offered in entry level S and SV trims when they go on sale this fall, has not yet been revealed.
