A spectator was hit by Robby Gordon’s Chevrolet while Gordon was battling Apdaly Lopez, the eventual race winner, during last weekend’s SCORE Baja 500.

There are no official reports of any injuries from the event, although unofficial reports indicate that the spectator suffered a broken leg.

The San Diego Reader adds that eight spectators were hit when a different vehicle lost control after suffering from a brake failure during the race, but that none were seriously injured.
