The Corvette turns 60 years old this weekend, but Chevy’s already chasing after the next generation of buyers, with a little help from Fisher-Price.

A new Power Wheels Corvette was unveiled today, featuring the style of the upcoming seventh-generation ‘Vette known as the Stingray.

The single seat open top roadster features a two speed gearbox with reverse, and a blistering top speed of 6 miles per hour. But unlike the 450 hp V8 powertrain in the adult version, this one’s battery-powered, just like the real one the kids will be buying 60 years from now – maybe.

The price is just $275, but you’ve got to weight under 65 pounds to enjoy it. Otherwise, you’ll have to spring for the $51,995 original.

Either way, still cheaper than a Porsche.
