"Je suis vitesse."

In English: "I am speed."

Not Lighting McQueen's French cousin, but the latest hypercar from Bugatti.

The Grand Sport Vitesse is an open-top version of the world's fastest car, the 268 mph Bugatti Veyron Super Sport.

The mash up combines the 1,200 hp 8.0-liter 16-cylinder engine of the Super Sport with the removable roof design of the Grand Sport. The new car also gets the Super Sport's new front bodywork and a pair of super size air intakes behind the cockpit.

What it doesn't have is the extremely aerodynamic rear cowling of the Super Sport, so its not clear if it will have the same max speed, but it should at least be able to outdo the 1001 mph Grand Sport's max velocity of 253 mph. With the top in place, of course.

More details on what is expected to be a $3 million car are to come at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
