A Moroccan woman is accused of killing her boyfriend in the United Arab Emirates — then cooking and serving his remains in a traditional homemade dish, officials said.
The woman, whose identity wasn’t released, allegedly wanted revenge because her boyfriend dumped her after she financially supported him over the course of their seven-year relationship, according to the Abu Dhabi newspaper The National.
Prosecutors in Al-Ain emirate said the girlfriend killed the victim three months ago, but she wasn’t arrested until his tooth was found inside her blender.
She allegedly admitted to authorities that she dumped his body with a friend’s help, keeping some of the flesh to mince in a blender.
The woman claimed she then cooked his body into a rice and meat dish known as machboos, which she served to nearby workers, according to the newspaper.
Officials said the murder investigation is ongoing.
