ANKARA, Turkey – Turkish Air Force says a fighter jet has crashed shortly after takeoff during a training flight but its two pilots escaped unharmed after ejecting.
The Air Force said the plane crashed within perimeters of a base near the western city of Eskisehir on Tuesday.
It says the pilots were well but have been taken to a hospital for medical examination.
It says the cause of the crash is under investigation.
