A tornado whipped through China Thursday killing 23, and injuring more than 160, AFP reported.
The tornado happened around 2 a.m. local time in the southwestern China's Chongqing municipality, ChinaDaily.com reported.
The website reported that houses were toppled and hospitals were receiving injured patients.
