GOTHENBURG, Sweden -- A 30-year-old Swedish man was jailed for assaulting passengers on a train while he was naked and under the influence of drugs, Swedish newspaper Skovde Nyheter reported.
The assaults occurred in November on a train from Gothenburg to Orebro. Police said the man was smoking cannabis on the train and then began to behave strangely.
He threatened to assault a train conductor, then took his clothes off and roamed through the train asking passengers if they would like to have sex with him. He also tried to force a woman to perform a sex act on him.
During the man's trial, one of the woman he assaulted said that the man claimed to be "a warrior who was going to rape and kill everyone."
Police arrested the man when it stopped at a station. He was held on remand for assault, attempted rape, threatening behavior, resisting arrest and drugs offenses.
A court sentenced him to 20 months in prison.
