DUBAI, United Arab Emirates – Qatari authorities say 11 people have been killed in a fire that broke out at an accommodation for migrant laborers.
The Qatar Interior Ministry said Thursday evening that the blaze started late the previous day in a housing complex used by workers on a tourism project known as Salwa.
It says 12 other people were injured in the fire. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
