Desperate times call for really desperate measures — and they don’t come much more desperate than this.
A prisoner was caught attempting to escape from a Brazilian jail in what has been described as a Shawshank Redemption-style escape plot.
Only problem is, it was via the communal toilet. Eew.
Footage uploaded to LiveLeak shows the man wedged head first in a giant hole, completely covered in what appears to be human excrement. He can be seen wriggling and jiggling in an attempt to navigate the toilet’s tunnels to freedom.
He is eventually coaxed out of the hole by two men who grab hold of his slippery legs and pull him out.
A later shot shows the man back in his cell, still covered in excrement.
Few details are known about the escape attempt, but it appears to have taken place somewhere around the Sao Paulo area.
