Preliminary murder charge sought over death of anti fascist activist in paris brawl

PARIS – Authorities have pressed preliminary murder charges against a man suspected of being involved in the killing of an anti-fascist activist in Paris this week.

Prosecutor Francois Molins said Saturday that the suspect identified only as 'Esteban' and three other people have also been preliminarily charged with group violence in the brawl between far-right and anti-fascist activists that led to the death of Clement Meric this week.
